A Bit of a Photo Dump

Miscellaneous photos, just because...
Fog sneaking over the back pasture in June.

Tiny parasol mushrooms - showing how much rain we received this year.

The trumpet vines over the metal gazebo loved the rains.

The pond filled for the first time in years.

Yes, those are Whistlers out there.
A neighbor's hog kept 'visiting' to eat the scratch feed I put out for the ducks.

They finally fixed their fence after I threatened to have it trapped and hauled off.

A beautiful sky on the way home from work one September day.
A beautiful sky on the way in to work one September morning

Complete with a Sun Dog spot.
By September, the summer weather had the pond receding, again.

Leaving pond fences exposed and "Longhorn" tree limbs balanced on them.

Or just creating neat reflection patterns.
With a little cooler temps in October, it was time to enjoy walks on the driveway, again.
(That tiny white spot in the center of the driveway is Thelma Jean doing her Run*A*Round walkabout)

And the last of the day's light shared with Gemilyn (the white spot in the back pasture)

Early morning...
or evening...October's skies changing.

Leading to cooler November mornings with fog across the driveway lit by my headlights.

The Earth keeps spinning.

I try to stay in step with the seasons.
And truly enjoy the beauty here at home.

I love camera dumps - all those interesting little pieces of a day that don't always fit into a normal post. The mushrooms are fascinating - never seen one like those. I love the hog - and it looks as though you're putting in a long day - going and coming from work with the sunrise and sunset! Happy Sunday!

Oh, Theresa. So much beauty here. Those parasol mushrooms are so neat. I've never seen anything like them before. The sky photos, especially #8 and #9, are gorgeous. Have you changed the color of your house? Or is it just the lighting that makes it look different?

So many gorgeous photos! The sky ones are my favorite. It is amazing how our sky can be completely different each day and night. I have to Google the trumpet vines. The leaf and craziness of the vine looks just like what we had in our yard over a fence (we had no clue what they were). We ended up cutting it out over the summer because it did not flower and came out about 4 - 5 feet from the fence taking away yard space. Maybe it needs a warmer climate for those pretty flowers!

Some lovely photos of the sunshine, we had are first hard frost today, nice to see not so nice to feel. Is there a spring that feeds your lake or just run off ? Have a great week.

Gorgeous photo dump!! I had to laugh at the whistler ducks!! Several years ago, I posted in your comments that I wanted to crochet an afghan in their colors. Guess what? I loved seeing this today -- 'dump' isn't nearly a good enough word for all this beauty -- and love!! And especially this week we need all possible reminders that the world and Mother Nature will keep spinning no matter what happens tomorrow. (or so I hope anyway.0

Yippeeee!!!! What a bonanza of lovely views.
I pretend those whistlers were enjoying a quiet community whistle practice . . perhaps "Give a Little Whistle" was the piece they were brushing up . . (giggle)

I'm glad you labeled the pictures, at first I thought the parasol mushrooms were some kind of Texas Ruffle Flowers . . . (yeah, i think like a kid . . but, you knew that.)

Naughty Piggy.

Trumpet Vine Gazebo . . Gorgeous.
