Good Fences #136

A nearby place likes to mix whimsical, spooky and funny for Halloween...
Bats, skeletons, a cemetery, hanging mummy, ghosts, pumpkins, and candy corn.

Some of the tombstones read: M.I. Dead, Real E. Olde, Myra Manes, C. Yalater, Bo Nee, Yule B. Next
Note the skeleton fellow sitting on the commode back there.

My favorite grouping - the two fellows celebrating with refreshing beverages and skeleton dog chasing skeleton man.

Good Fences #135

Wagon wheels are always a good choice to dress up an entrance...
 or fence...

Touching

As a four-dog household, I am grateful they get along so well.
Thelma and BB - sisters by adoption

Thelma and Louise - sisters by blood

Thelma, Baron, Louise - playing 'connect the dogs'

Baron and BB - siblings by adoption - eating kibble off the tile floor

Such sweetness
And one of my favorite photos of them - they're not touching, but it touches my heart so and reminds me to look forward, no matter what.

Good Fences #134

One day at the end of August, I chased a rainbow on the way home from work.
I stopped to see the Longhorn couple before heading around the corner to home.

A Few Autumn Critters

A turtle making its getaway into the pond after coming ashore to grab scratch feed scattered along the edge. He or she had actually grabbed a large horse feed pellet in its mouth before hastily departing. (I wasn't quick enough with my cell phone.)
A few Whistlers along the fence in the background.
Daddy Long-Legs or as I've learned it is called in Europe, the Harvester Spider.
It's leg span was far larger than my hand.
Farm Girl always asks about the Walking Sticks. Yes, they're here for fall.
 Such fascinating creatures.
A Tree Frog clung to the house early one morning.
Adorable webby feet and sticky toes. :)
Another sure sign of autumn, Red Spider Lilies (Licoris Radiata.)

And my four pups, enjoying the wonderful fall weather.

A few of the neighbors on the move.

White mule and bay horse among the Snow-On-The-Prairie blooms and Mesquite trees.
